Painting by numbers or paint by number is once more enjoying the popularity it had in the 1950's when finished canvases were even on display in the White House! And why not? It is the perfect introduction for young or inexperienced artists. There is no need to worry about subject matter or composition. Each kit comes complete with a pre-printed board, paints, brush and full instructions. | Colouring By Numbers
This is an alternative to Painting by Numbers and is suitable for all age groups. Each design is supplied with a numbered drawing on an overlay which corresponds to the pre-printed drawing on the board making it easy to achieve soft tones and shading with the crayons provided. |

| Sketching by Numbers
Although not strictly "By Numbers", this is an entirely new concept. Have you ever felt you would like to be able to sketch? If so, here is the way to start. Each kit comes with full step by step instructions showing how to start, build up and complete the picture and contains 1 line drawing on a special laminated board 400mm x 300mm (so you don't have to worry about proportion and things like that!) , 6 sketching pencils and 1 sharpener and, of course, full instructions. |

Again, although not strictly "By Numbers" each kit has easy step by step instructions. The composition and framework is pre-printed to guarantee an excellent result. Each kit contains a line drawing on special laminated board 400mm x 300mm, 8 different watercolour pencils, a pencil sharpener and full instructions. |

Although yet again not strictly by numbers, here is an introduction to pen and ink work. The outline is ghosted (so you don't have to worry about drawing) and full instructions are given how to produce beautiful pictures. You have a choice - you can either produce pictures to frame or cards to send to your friends. |

| Marquetry

| Pyrography
"Pyro" means fire and "graph" art". Thus Pyrography is creating art by fire or rather heat. It is sometimes known as poker work which is an echo from years ago when people put metal pokers in the fire and, once heated, then would quickly plunge the red hot poker into wood to create designs. There is no need for the red hot poker today! Instead, now there are electronic heating systems utilising different tips which come in many shapes and sizes. These "irons" are also today used not only on wood but leather, plastic, gourds, paper, egg shells, velevet and many other surfaces. |
